Dr. Bella: Mom loved The Wizard of Oz. We were surprised when we got a color TV that when Dorothy’s house landed in Oz…IT WAS IN COLOR! We joyfuly watched once a year when it was broadcasted on TV.

I am warmed every time I hear IZ’s rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Mom sang the original version from The Wizard of Oz. All four daughters sang along with her. This was a happy time, free of my father's cruelty—a byproduct of the PTSD from which he suffered.

It's been 20 years now since she departed to somewhere over the rainbow...
